We process the files you upload, their names, sizes and types, transfer details and share links. Essential cookies help connect you to your uploads without requiring a login. Technical information, including IP addresses and browser or device information, may be processed to deliver and protect the service.
Why we process it
We use this information to complete transfers, prevent duplicate uploads, resolve failures and address abuse. Service providers help us operate and protect Dotfree and may process information outside your country.
Sharing and security
Anyone who has a share link can download its file. Upload and download connections use HTTPS in production, but files are not end-to-end encrypted by Dotfree. Do not upload sensitive information that is unsuitable for link-based sharing.
Cookies and retention
Essential cookies support your upload session and security checks. These checks may process browser, device and network information to prevent abuse. This application does not include advertising or analytics trackers. Files and transfer information remain until removed; there is no automatic expiry promise. Clearing cookies may prevent you from managing previous uploads.
Your choices
For access, correction, deletion or privacy questions, contact [email protected] with the relevant share link. We may need information to verify your request. Applicable data-protection rights, including the right to complain to your supervisory authority, remain available. Removal from Dotfree cannot retrieve copies that others downloaded.
